Dear Friends,

I am pleased to be able to inform you that this year's special supplement of the Journal would be on “Scleroderma and related disorders.” This is being guest edited by Prof. Vikas Agarwal and colleagues. Contributions are from all over the world, and it promises to be extremely relevant to the rheumatology fraternity not only in India but also abroad.

Workshops on publication and scientific writing have been very popular and reflect the commitment of the Journal's editorial board in helping and encouraging scientific communication. Scholar's retreat version.2 is an academic initiative of the IRA with an specific objective of attracting good quality original articles for the Journal. Please find the details of both on the page 64.

At IRACON 2016, Kochi; the editorial board of the Journal met to review the progress and outline the future directions. You would continue to note the implementation of relevant suggestions on an ongoing basis.

As ever I welcome feedback or suggestions regarding any aspect of the Journal by mailing to injorheumat@gmail.com or to the postal address of the editorial office as appears below.

Best wishes.
