Dear Friends,
I along with my editorial board would like to thank the reviewer's for their voluntary work in maintaining the high standards of peer review for this Journal. A list of our reviewers can be seen on pages 241. Please do forgive us in case of any inadvertent omissions due to database transfer issues resulting from change in the publisher mid-year.
I am pleased to share that your Journal is now included by all major databases including SCOPUS, IndMed, CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), EBSCO Publishing's Electronic Databases, Exlibris – Primo Central, Google Scholar, Hinari, Infotrieve, Journal Guide, National Science Library, OpenJGate, ProQuest, TdNet. The Journal therefore fulfills the current criteria as set by the Medical Council of India.
Workshops on publication and scientific writing have been very popular and reflect the commitment of the Journal's editorial board in helping and encouraging scientific communication. The Journal wishes to support 2-3 such workshops every year. Please find the details on page 242.
I request all members of the IRA to support the Journal by increasing submission of all types of articles and by encouraging colleagues and trainees to subscribe to the Journal and submit manuscripts.
