Dear Friends,

As you would have noticed your Journal achieved several key objectives in the last couple of years or so, the most significant ones being in the three important components of this Journal's editorial strategy, i.e., commissioning, strengthening of operational platforms, and improving visibility. I would like to thank the entire editorial board for their voluntary contributions in the Journal's pursuit for greater milestones in future. I would like to share some important developments and considerations;

  1. IJR App: We would soon be launching the Journal's own “app” where you would have access to the entire journal and its archives on your smart phones and similar devices from anywhere and for free.
  2. IJR name change: The time has come for us to consider a new name for our Journal which should reflect its global aspirations and niche and should not limit it to any geographic region. This is important for our Journal's growth and indexing needs and would be in keeping with other leading international journals' journey. I invite suggestions on this regard from all members and readers
  3. IJR supplements: The Journal would be happy to consider ideas for future thematic supplements of the IJR from members. These usually consist of 8–10 articles written by a mix of experts in the field from India and abroad and may take up to 6–9 months, so early planning is essential. Let us know of your expression of interest with the theme, name(s) of guest editors, some tentative topics you intend to be cover, and potential names of contributors for a formal appraisal of your proposal.

Your mails are very much welcome on the above points or regarding any aspect of the Journal by mailing to or to the postal address of the editorial office as appears below.

Best wishes.
